Now I realize that the main point of this documentary wasn't to actually find Bin Laden, it was to highlight the issues facing people on the other side of USA War on terror, but I felt this was done unsatisfactorily.
I've said when reviewing other documentaries that the downfall of many full length documentaries is that they, don't justify why the content couldn't have been scaled down and expressed in a 60 minute Television program, Where In The World Is Osama Bin Laden? certainly falls into this category.
It has to be said that I do like Morgan Spurlock and I think he is very funny but I know from Super Size Me he is capable of a lot better than Where In The Word Is Osama Bin Laden.
Super Size Me was a perfect balance between insightful comments and comedy,the problem with this movie is that when one ignores the theme of the title there really isn't much left to focus on and what's left is dull and boring.
In summary I feel that if like me you are subscribed to a online rental service and essentially renting this wont cost you money then I would recommend as it is watchable and vaguely entertaining.
In any other situation I wouldn't waste you time on this film.
