The greatest war film of all time... A hi-octane action thriller,in which Burton and Eastwood take on what appears to be the entire German army.
Burton is wonderful in this film - in fact,he makes it - turning a good adventure yarn into a classic movie. Classic cable car sequence, the dining room massacre and the delectable Mary Ure - what's not to like?
