Review of Where Angels Fear to Tread (1991) by I'm El Capitano! A — 13 Sep 2008
Adaptation of the EM Forster novel, this film has a terrific cast of British actors who are well suited to this kind of film. Helen Mirren plays Lilia British woman who marries an Italian man, then sadly dies in childbirth.
It's up to her brother (Rupert Graves) and stuffy sister to retrive the baby from Italy, while Lilia's friend (Helena Bonham Carter) falls for her friends widower. A familiar set up for a period drama, but still a good watch.
