What WAS this movie? We watched it in our kids' lit class and I'm still not entirely sure what was going on. It started off promising, but then degenerated into a series of ridiculous, randomly dramatic events.
It also contained some of the creepiest child-in-love scenes I have ever seen in my life. Too bad, because most of the child actors were at least moderately convincing. But in general, it was too disjointed and too silly.
