Review of When You're Strange (2010) by Paolo R — 05 Jul 2010
If Oliver Stone's treatment on the life of Doors frontman Jim Morrison was too hyperbolic for you, then warm up to this kick ass doc from director Tom DiCillo. The clips and archival footage include scenes from a film Morrison made himself, alone in the desert.
Add stellar narration from Johnny Depp and you've got a recipe for something sweet, and wickedly hypnotic.
