When Worlds Collide is an excellent showcase of the ever so often told doomsday story. The fact that this film is more than 50 years old just stands out at me. The special effects are just fantastic for it's time.
Water rushing through the cities coupled with destruction of all things known to man give this film an incredible edge over some other science fiction films.
