So haunting at times I actually banned myself from ever watching it again when I was younger. And having finally plucked up the courage to re watch it I was drawn into the sadness again. It's the banter between them that holds the viewer yet also distressingly saddens the viewer because basically the whole film centres on watching these two wonderful characters die.
