Review of When the Game Stands Tall (2014) by Amanda H — 29 May 2015
By the time this movie was released in theaters, I was already sick to death of it because of the ridiculous amount of promotion I was subjected to. I decided to watch it anyway since I've always enjoyed Jim Caviezel, but I shouldn't have wasted my time.
Thankfully, I rented a damaged disc and the movie stopped playing 20 minutes in. I returned it without bothering to ask for a replacement. What little I did watch was overly preachy and the acting was terrible.
