Review of When the Cat's Away (1996) by Osamu I — 25 Oct 2008
I was afraid she was going to end up with Romain Duris' character, who was a filthy hippie and looked like he had fleas. I'm glad she didn't. And I'm glad it was left open and ambiguous in true French fashion, because the point wasn't so much finding *somebody* in particular as finding a lot of friends and building a community around yourself within a big city.
