Review of When the Bough Breaks (2016) by Whitney P — 09 Sep 2016
I really enjoyed this movie. It was suspenseful and had a solid storyline. It was not as predicable as I feared it would be for a movie of this genre. Jax Sullivan was great in her role and was very seamless in her transitions as this character.
I appreciate the fact that there was no run of the mill "male bashing"the movie really showed you both spouses sides in this situation. Regina Hall is showing in this film that she is more than her Scary Movie roles that she is remembered for and that she has more than plenty of acting ability that can place her in more rolls with depth.
Morris Chestnut delivered as usual. Showing that he is able to be the man that most if not all women would not mind having in their lives in some way. This movie is entertaining and held up to its movie trailer hype.
