Review of When Saturday Comes (1996) by Brian P — 21 Nov 2006
I was really suprised I enjoyed this film. I really didn't expect too, I just thought I'd enjoy eyeing Sean Bean and as always I thought both him and Pete Postlewaite would deliver a strong performance.
And they did and I do admit I did eye Sean but there was something more to it. Maybe it's that certain magic you find when you sit down to watch a film you don't think you'll enjoy but it suprises you.
If you don't think you'll like it, especially considering the football side of things I do encourage you to watch it. I'm no way a big fan of football but I enjoyed it and I was even on the end of my seat at the end.
Maybe it won't be for you after you've watched it but at least you've given it a go. Don't just over look it, give it a chance first.
