So much more could have been said in 1.5 hours. A TIFF disappointment. Premise is great, and interesting angle inside the chinese justice system.
Still I knew when the director said "i hope you like it, if not, you can take a nap" in his introduction that I might have wasted my money.
Highlights include an entire 5 min shot of nothing else than the mother ripping pages off a calender.
