Review of When in Rome (2010) by Steven P — 05 Aug 2010
This sparsely funny "comedy" about a woman being stalked by men under a Roman love spell is messy and scattershot at best. The premise is ridiculous, the acting is phoned in, and much like other romantic comedies, it breezes through the actual romance and courtship, and tries to force feed us the idea that the two lead characters are actually in love.
'When in Rome' is a cliched, unfunny, train wreck of a movie and a wasteful use of the beautiful Italian backdrop.
