Review of When in Rome (2010) by Don C — 06 Oct 2010
Wretched romcom about a young gorgeous workaholic woman (Bell) who has not been lucky with love in her life going to Rome for her sister's wedding. At the wedding she meets the man of her dreams, only to fall into a misunderstanding when she is willing to make an attempt to woo him.
From there, she goes to a fountain of love and takes coins thrown in and then back to New York. Unfortunately for her, when she took the coins, the men fell in love with her and try to gain her attention in the Big Apple.
But is she still in love with that man she met at the wedding and did she steal his coin from the fountain? Recycled garbage with not just the usual one misunderstanding, but multiple misunderstanding! And of course she may be in jeopardy of losing her job if this one event does not go smoothly.
.. All (and I mean all) jokes fall flat. Even my wife (a romcom lover) almost turned this one off. Truly terrible.
