With an interesting idea, a good story, an okay script and fine dialogue, a great cast headed by Kristen Bell, Josh Duhamel, Danny Devito, Anjelica Huston and Dax Shepard, fascinating directing by Mark Steven Johnson, funny scenes and sequences, and a short but cute pace and flow, When in Rome is not the best comedy ever made but is sweet and enduring at the same time.
