Review of When Harry Met Sally... (1989) by Liam U — 28 Feb 2010
Wonderful romantic comedy, helped massively by superb performances from Billy Crystal and Meg Ryan. At times this seems almost like a Woody Allen film, with great dialogue and the New York setting, but Rob Reiner (who also directed the awesome 'This Is Spinal Tap (1984)' and 'Stand By Me (1986)' - both classics in their own right) handles this story with ease, introducing us to the characters and chronicling their lives colliding over a period of twelve years.
At times very very funny, the ending is a little too convenient, but it works due to the great chemistry between Crystal and Ryan.
