Another one of those movies you hear quoted all the time as a classic. I had never had the time or inclination to watch this romantic comedy. I don't know why, but it seemed lame and boring. He likes her, she likes him, some weak jokes and witty dialogue.

But then I saw it on sale in the blue ray garbage bin for like $4. A must buy right? So I ended up paying almost $20 for it as I found out after going through the receipt from Best Buy (watch out for that!).

Boy am I glad I bought this movie. Watching it with my fiancee, we had a great time! It's really genuinely funny and VERY well written, acted and directed. It's got an excellent flow to it, and is such a light watch. It's without a doubt a guaranteed win date movie.

It's got romance, but not in a cheesy way. It's witty, but not hipsterish (that's my new word of the day). It's got chemistry between Meg Ryan and XXX, but it's not forced. It's just such a natural, entertaining experience, that flows like butter when heated to 30 degrees celsius.

The acting is just amazing. Meg Ryan's orgasm in the dinner is one of the best scenes in all of cinema, and watching it was even better than the hype. I had heard about that scene and it seemed interesting, but it was fantastically done.

The interviews that are dotted throughout the beginning of the movie are very heartwarming and have a genuine nature about them. Yes, I know they were probably actors reading lines, but it was a great idea and these people really did not feel like they were putting on an act.

All in all, if you still have not watched When Harry Met Sally, go out to your local Best Buy, search through the blu ray junk, find the disk and take it home. Naturally, check the receipt to make sure they haven't ripped you off first!
