Review of When a Stranger Calls (2006) by Dead A — 14 Feb 2010
This film is best described simply, like its plot. Boring. Nothing is redeeming in this unintentional disaster flick. The only thrill you'll get in this movie is seeing the credits roll. I mean don't get me wrong, I can enjoy a slow paced movie, but this movie was almost moving in reverse.
But of course it couldn't move in reverse because that may take a little invigoration from the director, and there simply is none. No motivation, no energy, no nothing. And as for the acting, well, as in the trailer (right over there -->), her uninspired delivery of the line "Stop calling me!!", like she's faux breaking up with her boyfriend is just typical of the uninspired job done by the cast.
