Review of When a Stranger Calls (2006) by Allan C — 29 Dec 2012
While it may be commendable that the filmmakers opted to make a more psychological thriller instead of a slasher film, the film sadly ends up being a PG-13 thriller with very little suspense. Also, this remake feels about 10 years too late when "Scream" already took the basic premiss of the terrorized babysitter over the phone and made a far better and suspenseful film.
