Review of When a Man Loves a Woman (1994) by Tina — 24 Oct 2008
Some deep issues, although the portrayal of family affected by alcoholism seemed quite one-sided. The movie rarely seeked sympathy for Meg's character.
The film was obviously always going to have a happy ending, but it seemed really rushed, and something merely added as an afterthought.
But, despite all this, I enjoyed it overall.
