Review of Wheels on Meals (1984) by Matthew M — 17 Nov 2007
One of the two greatest fight scenes committed to fictional film is onlt one of the reasons this movie is worth watching. The teaming of Jackie Chan, Yuen Biao, & Sammo Hung was probably never quite as brilliant as in this movie.
The stunts are magnificent and although the story is simple, it does keep you entertained. As mentioned before, the highlight is the end fight between (at the time) champion kickboxer Benny Urquidez. This fight is only rivalled in ferocity and realism by their re-match in Dragons forever.
That being said, Donnie Yen has provided some equally aggressive and realistic fights in his last few movies (SPL & Flashpoint), and the likes of (Jacky) Wu Jing has been well on the mark with his fighting these days.
..keep a look out for him in SPL & Fatal Contact.
