This is a movie that should have gone straight to the rental shelves. No one should have ever been charged movie theater prices to see this and after renting the movie myself I felt bad about spending the $4.

Anna Faris is back in territory here that she should have passed a long time ago. I could see her doing this type of movie inbetween her Scary Movie sequels, but now after an underrated lead role in "House Bunny" and good supporting turns in dark comedies like "Observe and Report" she is taking some major steps backward and making generic rom coms like "What's Your Number?" that reach for the R-rated raunchiness of recent hits, but instead falls flat on its face.

The news that we will probably see a "Scary Movie 5" this year doesn't help her prospects for moving up either. How she recruited Chris Evans for this is anyone's guess. With starring roles in Marvel's biggest films this guy should be making smaller projects that he wants to do like last weeks "Puncture" rather than cashing a paycheck on stuff like this.

If you saw the trailer, you know every single thing that is going to happen here and you are better off sticking with the two and a half minute version rather than suffering through this nearly two hour, laugh free romp.

This movie doesn't respect itself enough for us to even pay it any attention and we are starting to feel the same way about Faris. She should get her act together soon or the ditzy blonde act is gonna get older than it already is.
