Review of What's Up, Doc? (1972) by Simon T — 28 Mar 2018
For the most part a genuinely delightful romantic farce, nimbly performed by a superlative cast. Ryan O'Neal is particularly adept - a very underrated screen actor - ànd underplays nicely, while Barbra Streisand reins in her narcissistic tendency to make a genuinely attractive sparring partner.
And there's great comic support from Madeline Kahn, Kenneth Mars and particularly Liam Dunn as an exasperated judge at the end. Madcap and good fun.
