Review of What's Up, Doc? (1972) by Michael R — 16 Jan 2009
Hysterical is an understatement in describing this movie. Screwball slapstick rules the storyline, and there are many scenes that will have you laughing out loud. My favorite character is the pompous and arrogant Hugh Simon, portrayed beautifully by Kenneth Mars (he is the voice of King Triton in Disney's "The Little Mermaid", and also played the crazed federal marshal in "The Apple Dumpling Gang Rides Again").
If you've had a bad day, watch this. It will make you feel better. :).
