Review of What's the Worst That Could Happen? (2001) by Caleb B — 18 Jun 2006
I think that Ebert and Roeper might have been a little too harsh on this movie saying it was one of the worst movies of the year. I don't think it was really meant to be very good to start out with.
Now, Martin Lawrence is a really funny actor but he really picks dissapointing roles. I wish that he would do more with his career than comedies like these. The jokes in this weren't that funny, although Danny DeVito made me laugh a few times.
The story wasn't very original and it just kind of blended a lot of movies into one. I think that it was halfway entertaining but in the end I found myself feeling dissapointed.
