Review of What's the Worst That Could Happen? (2001) by Michael B — 30 Dec 2003
This movie is clever. If you are into anything different or even witty then, this is the flick for you. The characters are smart, clean and untouchable. You could never figure them out, which is why I think this movie is so clever.
Max, you did not really know for sure if he was genuine with his wife or faking it. Tardio, is he straight or what, and Leticia, did she really care about what her husband did, or was she just in it for the moola.
These are questions you constantly ask yourself when watching this well written masterpiece. And no matter how many times I watch it, I still try to figure the characters out. It's amazing.
