Based on the true story of Tina Turner and her tumultuous yet musically fruitful relationship with Ike Turner, this biopic is also a story of a womans struggle to find her true self. Angela Basset gives the performance of her career as Tina Turner.
Laurence Fishburne is equally moving as Ike. The story moves, and it is very compelling to watch.
