Outstanding musical biopic with amazing performances from Angela Bassett and Laurence Fishburne.
A young woman meets up with an aspiring singer. She marries him and they become the powerhouse husband and wife team of Ike and Tina Turner. But, the marriage is anything but happy as Tina suffers years of mental and physical abuse at the hands of Ike.
