Review of What's in a Name (2012) by Carmen C — 26 Aug 2012
A definitive winner. A clever script, smart dialogues, some truly monumental acting (Patrick Bruel, Valerie Benguigui, Charles Berling and Guillaume De Tonquedec are all exquisitely funny - as well as remarkably precise in the few dramatic moments) and the wonderfully theatrical setting (it was based on a play anyway).
There's a point at the beginning of the second part where things turn a little too self-serious, but, overall, this is laugh-out-loud, realistic and filled with French finesse.
