Review of What's Eating Gilbert Grape (1993) by Joel H — 24 Sep 2012
I'm not particularly a fan of Leonardo DiCaprio, but his portrayal of Arnie in this movie is simply stunning and very convincing (especially considering the fact he's only 19 when the movie was made).
Everyone's performances are above par, together with the writing and directing, which is was makes this movie a little gem.
Sweet and touching. Very recommended.
