Review of Whatever Works (2009) by Robert G — 24 Feb 2010
Woody Allen meets Larry David, two very unique comedy minds get together to make a super comedy. I know that the critics kind of dogged the movie, but I liked it. It was very unique and it had the great pessimistic spew of Larry David.
Evan Rachel Wood did a great job of playing the number 2 to Larry David. But even so she does give the best acting performance. The supporting actors did a great job themselves. If you just want to see a funny movie this is a good choice.
There is a lot of Allen / David style of comedy so this is not for those with a "narrow mind" (for lack of a better word, or phrase).
