Review of Whatever Works (2009) by Johan N — 17 Mar 2010
All the familiar Woody Allen characters bring nothing new, only everything stale and corny. Contrived story and acting, lack of chemistry and charm, unlikable characters, unattractive scenes, sets and camera works.
.. even the humour and intelligence are way below Woody's usual standard. The direct address to the audience is totally meaningless, and the condescending ending is unforgivable. Admittedly this was written many years ago; it really should've remained buried.
