You know, you think it would be better, but it drags too much. Metaphysical cynicism for 1 and half hours with not break, is too much. Its indulgent and plain. The jokes are good, but always at others expenses and it never offers insight besides a brief moment with Wood's character says she thinks that non-genius people are just scare, but this statement is never followed up.

In a lot of senses the movie is self justifying by its random ending and resolution and the only crack in Larry David's character is the fact he was just almost nominated for a Nobel and he comes from a poor background.

It lacks a lot, some potential, but not real insight and that's what makes it too disappointing. Also, the editing was not very good, bad cuts from time to time and the lighting was only good in some parts, bad at others.
