A movie made by Woody Allen for Woody Allen to beat off to. It had a very promising start -- just putting Larry David and Woody Allen on the same team has great potential -- but because the script was such an overboard very-dumb-but-very-hot-19-year-old-girl-with-a-terribly-fake-southern-accent-falls-in-love-with-an-old-pissed-off-Jewish-guy, Woody Allen knew he couldn't appear as the main character without going to jail, so he put Larry David in his place. Apparently Allen is still trying to solve the age-old riddle: How many Woody Allen movies that try to justify Allen's young lust does it take to screw in a light bulb?

Larry David's comedic style and a few clever moments save this borderline disturbing car crash.
