He wrote this script in the 70s and some of the characters certainly feel outdated. Also some of the ideas. I don't know about you, but the whole "Bitter Atheist" doesn't seem to fit as well as it once did.

Not saying people aren't atheist, but it just seems like so many people don't believe in God in NYC anyway, that a man going on a rant about it is almost unneeded. This has a lot of typical Woody Allen monologues of blah, blah, blah, the universe is so big, we are so small syndrome.

In the end of the day, I liked this movie a lot more the first two times I saw it, in Manhattan & Annie Hall. I probably would of given this film a worse rating if I wasn't such a Larry David fan.

Eh...Concept....Eh Execution. Watch Larry David have sex with young girls!
