Review of What Women Want (2000) by Ryan J — 07 Jun 2010
I think this movie was very cute even though it is a chick flick. For me, Mel Gibson is not fit for his role in this film, probably like Tom Cruise would be best fit for this role. It wasn't pretty bad actually, it was really what most guys' wish about women, and also having the ability to know what most women thinks and likes about something and especially men. The first 30 minutes was starting to show us how Nick Marshall feels about women, then the next minutes (the middle) was all crazy to him, he now thinks what women wants, finally the end was not bad at all that most people think, of course he was electrocuted again and his abilities to hear women thoughts are gone by at the same time telling to her daughter and to Helen Hunt's character about being a perfect man towards women at the end.
So, I think this is a unique film but still predictable although I enjoy most of it. This is the film that most guys would really be glad to see and think that they wish they can do what Nick can do.
