I'm a germs fan and I thought this movie was fucking terrible. I wanted to like it, and wanted to believe that the trailer was just poorly done, but the trailer was just about right. the editing was good, but that is about it. shane west was not convincing as darby, at all. I don't know why the actual germs played shows with him. the guy they hired to play tomata du plenty was terrible, and the cover did not do the screamers justice AT ALL. the dude who played claude bessy had a semi-convincing accent, but was a terrible actor.

I don't know. if you're not familiar with the LA scene, haven't heard the germs, or haven't seen old archive footage of the bands depicted in this movie you *might* like it, but i'd say skip it and just watch the decline of western civilization.
