It's so weird to me that pretty boy Shane West is playing Darby Crash. He doesn't, in anyway, seem to embody the snotty anarchic spirit of Crash or his band The Germs. But, somehow, it works. In a way his performance mirrors the movie itself- a workmanlike but convincing portrayal of a rock'n'roll suicide.
