I see it as a progressive vampire movie that demystify the supposedly superiority of vampire (all the vampires in the movie appear to be pretty much losers). also subtlety mocked the white supremacy behind the whole vampire myth (in the movie one of the vampires was a nazi).
most importantly: hilarious!
