Treading the line between comedy and tragedy is a hard thing to do, and What We Did On Our Holiday doesn't always get it right, but when it does, there are some very nice moments. Quite a lot of this film seems forced, with plot points progressing unnaturally, and some outright strange moments, but there are enough good jokes and smiles to make this worth a watch.
