Essentially an episode of the TV series Outnumbered with Scottish accents, fabulous Scottish scenery and a bit of Viking lore thrown in. The excellent adult cast get upstaged by the children, with some genuinely laugh out loud moments, and a certain degree of poignancy.
A good family film with some grown-up themes and language.
