Review of What to Expect When You're Expecting (2012) by Conrad K — 27 Oct 2012
Grade: A.
I thoroughly enjoyed this movie; it had some great characters and some great laughs. This film focuses on different couples who want to have a baby; whether its a planned pregnancy or an unplanned pregancy or a couple adopting, it epitomises each couple's experiences and dilemmas they face being a parent. There were plenty of laugh out loud and crazy moments; Rebel Wilson really stole the show as the dopey store girl; she made me laugh so much. Elizabeth Banks is terrific are the psycho wanna-be mommy. The bad-ass walking daddy crew were definitely one of the highlights of the movie. This film definitely had lots of original twists and had both poignant as well as laugh out loud scenes. I think this is a film that can definitely relate to anyone who is or wants to be a parents. Ignore the bad reviews, this film was great! I highly recommend it.
