Review of What to Do in Case of Fire? (2001) by Stephan B — 04 Feb 2007
Punk Rock nostalgia, German style. This film is pure genius, and one of my new sentimental favorites. It deals with how poorly ideals age when the people who hold them mature, as well as the value of friendship and how former enemies can find they really needed each other as a new world erases that which they once knew.
An absolutely fantastic sentimentalist film with a (matured) punk aesthetic.
