Review of What the Peeper Saw (1972) by Robert H — 25 Dec 2014
There's a few scenes that are outright creepy ...and not in a horrifying way. I can see why the BBFC made them chop out a few (the asylum dream sequence specifically because it serves no purpose other than to make the viewer feel a little bit pervy). Luckily these instances are brief and you rebound right along with the movie as it returns to being a pretty great portrayal of psychological warfare between Eklund and the kid from Oliver.
Oh and the last second surprise ending is absolutely greattt.
