Review of What Maisie Knew (2013) by Dmitry F — 09 May 2014
This movie was ok from any point of view you want to see it from. It shows the reality of a divorce, here mostly through the eyes of a 6-years old child...you feel the sadness of what happens when kids have to switch from one parent to another , the irresponsibility of some parents.
The lesson is that you do not have to be the biological parent to be a parent. It shows the two sides of a story. That both parents might love their little girl, but do not know how to care for her. By the other side the ones that are not the parents do what parents are suppose to do. This movie is sad but in a certain way hopeful.
