Review of What Lies Beneath (2000) by Abeeha M — 16 Aug 2009
A passable horror/suspense/drama with a great performance from Harrison Ford. The movie has enough scares and plot twists (that are actually believable) to keep me interested, but man is it ever boring in the mid point.
The movie begins and ends with good suspense and scares, but everything else drags. The movie is directed well from Robert Zemeckis but I don't think horror is his thing. And the lead girl Michelle Pfeiffer, so strange and messed up and I didn't really like her performance that much at all.
The movie is okay, better than some of the crap out there, but cmon, we need some excitement throughout so we don't fall asleep by the end, oh well its alright. Thumbs up.
