Review of What Lies Beneath (2000) by Daniel S — 06 Apr 2013
The story is about a couple who live in a house named Norman and Claire Spencer played by Harrison Ford and Michelle Pfeiffer when suddenly, Claire starts seeing things of another woman which may lead her into a mysterious past.
Norman being a scientist turns to her paranomal beliefs until the truth is finally released. This movie is clever, cold, dark, spooky and even creepy at times. People often hate this movie because the story is unoriginal.
So? At least it's inspired by some kind of a story before you critics were brainwashed by the modern splatterfests. Directed by the legendary Robert Zemeckis who directed the Back To The Future trilogy and Who Framed Roger Rabbit?, What Lies Beneath gets a solid 6/10.
