Review of What Just Happened (2008) by Louis F — 18 Apr 2009

Things wrong with this piece of shit in no particular order:

1. Robert Deniro should not be playing "middle aged" anything. He's practically 70 and any attempt to "young-ify" him makes him come off as creepy and desperate.

2. The acting is awful. Especially Deniro. His narration is without any hint of emotion or passion.

3. Is this supposed to be funny? We made it through 30 minutes without cracking a smile. (We turned it off shortly after the 30 minute mark).

4. This film lacks any sense of energy or life, it is beyond boring.

5. If you're going to skewer hollywood try not to make a movie more boring and terrible than the fake movies you're supposed to be sticking it to.
