Review of What Is It? (2005) by Don N — 03 Dec 2007
Five starts just because he bothers to ask the question. It's so important in this age of banal reproduction and repackaging to challenge the meaning and essence behind film. So what if he falls flat here and there? The important thing is that there are moments of brilliance in this film that are bliss: 1.
screaming snails, 2. down syndrome graphic love making (they have a right to being happy just like us, duh), etc. A must see.
