The plot doesn't really matter anymore. It is the dark comedy aura characteristic of Almodovar that appeals to me. The next-door prostitute, the little redhead girl with telekinetic powers, the cheap grandma, the impotent policeman, the gay dentist, the two writers, etc.
- all putting on wonderful performances to make for an interesting watch.
